It was long rumoured that Charlie Chaplin had been a Keystone Kop in the early days but nobody could ever prove it. Not until 2010 when a short film – A Thief Catcher – was found.  Made in 1914, there in his full glory as a Keystone Kop, stood Chaplin. Standing next to him in one clip was a tall blonde-haired actor. At the time, his identity was unknown but it became immediately apparent who he was on Sunday.

Jürgen Norbert Klopp is a former professional football player and a German football manager, who is currently the manager of the English Premier League club, Liverpool. Klopp became Liverpool’s manager last year on October 8, 2015. He signed three year deal to become the manager of Liverpool and replaced Brendan Rodgers.   Liverpool under the guidance of manager Jürgen Klopp When Klopp became the manager of Liverpool, the club was eight games in the football season of 2015-16.

This season the EPL has been much more competitive as compared to its previous years, which makes it difficult to predict which club will get to the number one spot. This season too is quite interesting just like every other season of the EPL and perhaps even more so. But, the main question here is like Leicester City won the title last season, which team will win the title in the current season of the league. There are 5 or 6 teams, all of which can win the title.

The 2016-17 season is the 125th season for the Liverpool squad at present as well as their 54th consecutive season in English football. Plus, it is the 25th consecutive season of the club in the English Premier League. Besides the Premier League, the club will also compete in the EFL Cup and the FA cup this season.

A wave of optimism has spread around the red half of Liverpool since Jurgen Klopp arrived at Anfield. The warmth of the reception for the self-styled “normal one” has far exceeded that of his predecessor, Brendan Rodgers, with many supporters and commentators hailing Klopp’s appointment as Liverpool manager as a potential watershed moment in the club’s history.

It was very difficult and dramatic for Liverpool yesterday (09/08/15), but in the end they came home with the win against Stoke City on Sunday in Britannia Stadium.  Philippe Coutinho scored a fantastic goal on the final minutes (86'), taking the win in the same place where they have been beaten 6:1 last year in the final league match.
